MIKE

Mike certified as an Alberta Fitness Leader (AFLCA) in 1987 and taught muscular strength and endurance as well as stretch classes. In 1992, he upgraded his certification to that of Specialist Fitness Leader in the area of Strength and Weight Training and focused on helping individuals to identify and achieve fitness goals through lifestyle changes. In 2000, Mike started taking Pilates classes. Recognizing the power of Pilates training to give individuals core strength, flexibility, and fitness self-esteem, Mike certified as a Pilates Mat Instructor. He has been teaching Pilates classes since 2001 and introduced a popular and highly successful noon hour program at The City of Calgary.
